I had two issues with my garage door. The closer had a bad control board and one of the springs had broken. The technician arrived on time. He looked at the issues and had a quote in a couple of minutes. He explained the options. They had everything needed on the truck. It took them about 1 1/2 hours to complete the repairs. They were very clean and efficient while working. Very pleased with the work they did. I will reach out to DoorTek for future needs.

When our garage door spring let loose, it was an impressive crash and left our door inoperable. Could manually open the door; we were stuck. Called DoorTek Friday evening hoping that I'd get a return call when they opened Monday. Sure enough, just after 8 a.m. I got a call... big points for a business actually calling back. A rarity in this day and age, but this was only the first time DoorTek would be different than the rest. Scheduled my service call for first thing Tuesday. At 7:45 a.m. I received a text that the service tech was on the way. At 8 a.m., Jonah pulls up with an impressively stocked truck. Organized and neat, to me, means they are serious about their work. Jonah was a delight. Explained what he was doing, gave me some options, and since we were actually in the market for new garage doors soon, took the time to generate an estimate. Not only did he have the tools, but had the info and samples to allow me to pick the style and type of replacement doors. So before Jonah left, I had a new spring, an estimate for new doors in hand, and a reliable company I can trust. I appreciate the great work that Jonah did, his professional approach, and his knowledge. Yep, these words for a garage door spring. But sometimes you run across a company that deserves the praise. Door Tek responded the same day I called about the damage to my garage door. Jonah and Andrew came that afternoon and assessed the damage. The garage door was 22 years old and needed to be replaced because of the damage. I asked for a quote to replace it with a new door and received it later that day. The next day the insurance adjuster came to view the garage door and agreed that the price was good. Two weeks later Colson and Matthew came to install the new garage door. Jake called me a day early to see if he could swing in to check the spring that broke. In 10 minutes he gave me 3 pricing options for just the spring and a few things he saw during inspection. After our torsion spring snapped on our double door, I called DoorTek in Lynchburg. Their technician (Jake) came out within a few days. He offered 3 fixes from #1 direct replacement, #2 replace with upgraded parts (he suggested), and #3 a full overhaul, all with standard costing per their very simple costing model. At first the cost seemed high; however, after a quick read through Reddit and online search, I decided to go with option 2 as it carried a lifetime parts warranty and was quoted at ~20% under the national average. In addition, Jake added a few other components to help properly carry the load and ensure proper function. The door now moves quieter & smoother than ever, and I have the peace of mind of a warranty. I couldn't be happier with DoorTek's products, service, and overall experience.

I’m extremely pleased with the work that Jake, Jonah, and Dylan did on my garage door. They replaced the old Chamberlain LiftMaster system with a much better direct drive system that is much quieter, and also fixed the garage door, which had been bent slightly after being struck by my car. They were able to put another brace and bottom seal on the garage door, saving me thousands of dollars in having to buy a new door. I have nothing but excellent reviews for DoorTek from the moment I called them about my broken garage door till the moment they pulled out of my driveway from replacing the motor in it! They were very friendly and knew exactly what they were doing! They sent me a text 30 minutes before they arrived at my house, which is very helpful to remind me they were coming, and came and replaced the motor on my door within minutes!
